The Land of the Condor

The legend of the Eagle and the Condor goes back a very long time in the Andes and in many other parts of the world. In the Andes it is expressed as the coming of the new Pachacuti. A Pachacuti is an interval of roughly 500 years. It was known for a long, long time that the fourth Pachacuti, which began about the 1490's, would be a time of turmoil, of struggle, of conflict. The Spanish conquest of Central and South America began in the late 1400’s. In addition, at the fifth Pachacuti, which began in the late 1990's, it would be a time of coming together, of partnership, of union, and particularly a time when the Eagle of the North will fly with the Condor of the South.

It is known to all the indigenous peoples that there has been unbalance and tremendous conflict throughout the Americas during the past 500 years. The Eagle Power and Spirit which is mental and materialistic, has outweighed and dominated the Condor Spirit which is spiritual and heart centered.

Now it is time for the two to come together and fly in the same skies as equals so that the earth may become balanced. You can also look at it as the balancing of the male and the female or the yin and the yang.

All this was predicted in many cultures throughout the world. The Mayan people in Central America have similar prophecies for this time. The new Pachacuti, the new era for the coming together of the Eagle and the Condor, is an idea that is shared by many cultures all around the world.

INTRODUCTION

Everyone on planet Earth is experiencing very special times. In the Inca Tradition, we call this time the New PACHACUTI. We are leaving 500 years of “night” darkness into the Sunrise of the New Day. There are still many signs of night. However, we should concentrate our attention on the meaning of this new vibratory frequency, because this New Day of this PACHACUTI cycle of 500 years awakens a new vibration of spirituality in each one of us.

Those who accept the Cosmos’ invitation to life, will be expanding their real being with the enthusiasm that life offers to us. Mystic Andean Masters, do not want us to passively wait for the date of December 21st, 2012. They think that the great moment has begun already and it is in each one of us. We need to be active and alive and expand the MUNAY (love), LLANCAY (service) and YACHAY (wisdom). So, following the events, such as Mystic High Plateau, The Prophesies and the Andes, the Activation 11/11/1992, Metaphysical Meeting with people of Lord Meru in 2002, Reuniting the Eagle and the Condor in 2007, and other activations with different kinds of schools, we are NOW celebrating, all over the world, a unique reconnection with Mother Earth and the Father Sun .

Under the auspices of the zenith of the Sun, we will meet in communion with our Inner Sun, the Father Sun and the Sun behind the Sun. This reconnection has to do with the legendary Solar Disk which is underneath the waters of our Sacred Lake Titicaca. The zenith, a moment when the Sun is centred and perfectly aligned with the Mother Earth is on February 14th. This special date when Love is celebrated in many places in the world, is when we have an appointment with our own Love (You can celebrate with your partner)

The lake, today called Titicaca, was considered one of the most sacred places for the Children of the Sun. Here in the presence of sacred frequencies, it is easy to calm the mind and connect with the authentic self. From there we can have a new vision, a new dream, and the correct decisions for our lives so that we are in harmony with all aspects within the present reality. Today as in ancient times we are making an important pilgrimage as the Children of Light to welcome the New Cycle

The Activation of the Solar Disk will bring to us the fire of life. It makes available the sublime energies to produce an effect of overwhelming sami (refined energy) that will vitalize and purify our past or our history. This blessing is an important step to keep expanding consciousness and anchoring more strongly the joy that we are searching for.

This is a personal invitation to be present and claim your spiritual heritage as the Children of the Sun.

PROGRAM: ACTIVATING THE SOLAR DISK

Day 01: Feb 10 Arrive in Puno- La Candelaria Celebration- For 18 days, the highland town of Puno, becomes the Folk Capital of the Americas. The festival gathers more than 200 groups of musicians and dancers to celebrate the Mamacha Candelaria. For the first nine days, the mayordomos (those in charge of organizing the festivities), decorate the church and pay for Mass, banquets and fireworks displays. On the main day, February 2, the virgin is led through the city in a colorful procession comprising priests, altar boys, the faithful, Christians and pagans carefully maintaining the hierarchy. This is the moment when the troupes of musicians and dancers take the scene, performing and dancing throughout the city. The dancers, blowing pan-pipes and clad in spectacular costumes and outlandish masks, make their offerings to the earth goddess Pachamama. The most impressive masks, for their terrifying aspect, are those of the deer fitted with long twisted horns similar to the Devil, and Jacancho, the god of minerals. DAY 03: FEB 12: CONFERENCES AND CUTIMBO

PM: CUTIMBO: We will go to Cutimbo which is a spiritual place where we can understand the secret of immortality, the secret of life, the life after physic death. This place invites us to have a ceremony of reconnection with our essence and with the Cosmos, to visualize our intention of life and being in touch with all of our power of love, creativity and wisdom.

DAY 04: FEB 13: CONFERENCE / ARAMU MURU DOORWAY / AMANTANI ISLAND

EARLY AM: Willka Uta (Doorway of Lord Aramu Muru)

Sunrise and Greeting Ceremony with the “Sun’s Children” at the drinking place of the Father Sun. We will surrender to the light we are.

Willka Uta means the Sun’s home where it is possible to cross the gate to other dimension. It is a point of reverence and connection with our Father Sun.

Afterwards, we will continue to the lake to go to Amantani Island by boat. On the way we will give offerings to the Mama Cocha. At the island of Amantani we will do a meditation to connect with the Solar Disk and the Temple of Illumination which is in the etheric plane of Lake Titicaca.

DAY 05: FEB 14: THE ZENITH

Breakfast with host families

AM: We will go up to the Temple of Pachatata and Pachamama, and have two important ceremonies, one to the Cosmic Father and to the Cosmic Mother. We will harmonize the energies at the juncture (unification place) at the moment when the zenith is and will REACTIVATE THE SOLAR DISK.

We will feel and recognize in our hearts that we are the Sun’s Children and feel our inner self that is ready to expand and to help others who are already in the way path.

We will be in touch with the knowledge that is recorded in the Solar Disk and which is now offered to us to share with our bothers and sisters since this is a brotherhood

PM: we will return to Puno by boat and will visit the Uros Floating Islands, where we will complete the “Great Reactivation”- meditating on a reed boat, feeling the intense peace of the place.

DAY 06: FEB 15: BY BUS FROM PUNO TO CUSCO.

Bus from Puno to Cusco. Along the way we will appreciate how the scenery changes leaving the Altiplano to enter into an area with plenty of mountains and hills, and gorgeous scenery where we can admire the majesty of creation.

We will visit on route the Temple of Raqchi, which was built by the Inkas to remenber the presence of Wiracocha and the message he received in relation to the Solar Disk. Ceremony at the Temple.

Continue to Cusco.

DAY 07: FEB 16: CUSCO AND THE FOUR ELEMENTS

Cusco: It is possible to experience the powerful energies that intensely vibrate in the air of this sacred city, comparable to vibrations in other holy cities.

We will start our day visiting the Temple of the Heart, where heart to heart we will surrender to Love, to be able to experience how authentic this energy is.

We will be in touch with the four elements of the temples which are nearby.

- Tambomachay : Where you can be cleansed and purified. Connection with Water.

- Amaru Machay : Temple of Rebirth. Connection with Mother Earth.

- Illapata : Connection with Air

- Sacsayhuaman : A place where rocks contain messages and lessons for a new Era

through geometrical symbols. Connection with Fire.

- Kenko : Awakening altar of Puma

Return to the city to relax and to connect with the wonderful Puma (Cusco has the shape of a Puma). This animal represents the world of the here and now. In his presence we can release our heavy energy (HUCHA) and expand to absorb the refined energy (SAMI) through our Q’osqo (navel) using the courage that the Puma gives to us. Then, we will keep our mind quiet and in silence.

DAY 08: FEB 17:SACRED VALLEY

We will drive to Pisac, where will have the opportunity to greet and talk to the Spirit of the Mountains (Apucunas) through the Mama Cuca (Mother Coca), then, holding the Coca leaves in our hands we will send our best intensions from our inner centre to the spiritual world.

We will continue to the Inka power places, we will walk by the energetic lines that we call The Tunupa’s Route in Ollantaytambo, power place of the Llama, the Condor, the Puma and the snake. Then, we will “learn to fly” as the Condor does, firs as immature ones for after being upper and upper….as the Condor does.

DAY 09: FEB 18: MACHU PICCHU

Transfer to the train station, the crystal city awaits us. Our pilgrimage is taking us to Machu Picchu among the sacred Apus and the clouds, on top of the world and away from civilization, to experience the explosion of our being, as the Sun’s Children.

Asking permission to the guardians and entities of this holy place, we will surrender in spirit and expand our attributes, the ones which are the same of the Mother and the Father: Munay (love), Llancay (service), Yachay (wisdom).

Our pilgrimage includes special ways to visit the temple in contemplation, meditation and with ceremonies to connect with the real power of Machu Picchu.

DAY 10: Feb 19th Second day at Machu Picchu. We will return to the Crystal City after breakfast. Again we will climb the hill by bus, traveling the switchbacks that will ultimately bring us to the grounds. There will be time for meditation and connecting with the essence of cosmic force of this place. Another option will be to climb Huayna Picchu, or hike to the Temple of the Moon. DAY 11: Feb 20th Day for shopping and relaxing in Cusco and an afternoon visit to the famous Coricancha which used to house the Solar Disk before the Spanish arrived. This is one of the most revered temples, dedicated to the Sun God, whose walls and floors were once covered in sheets of solid gold. Wander the courtyard which was once filled with golden statues and view the ancient relics, mummies and textiles in the nearby underground Archaelogical Museum.

Day 12: Feb 21st Bus to Colonial Pisac a rural Andean village which comes alive on Sundays for the weekly market and attracts traditionally dressed locals from miles around. Lots of colourful craft stalls and craft workshops to explore and then a trip up to the hilltop Inca citadel with it’s breathtaking plunging gorge on either side. Overnight in Cusco Hotel

Cancellations and Refunds

• If a cancellation is received in writing 30-60 days or less in advance of the tour departure date, a refund of 75% of the tour cost will be refunded.

• If a cancellation is received in writing 30 days or less of the tour departure date, no refund will be made. Purchasing travel insurance is strongly advised.

FLIGHTS: As mentioned above, we are not including international flights from the USA to Lima, Peru. Many carriers service Lima including American, Continental, and Delta Airlines. This will allow you to fly the most direct and affordable way from your home city to/from Lima. Most flights into Lima all arrive late at night-please contact me BEFORE you book your international flights to ensure that you will meet the group for our flight to Puno in the early afternoon of February 10th. I can arrange a hotel near the airport if you come in late and you will be met by a driver to take you there. Some flights arrive between 5:00am-6:30am in the early morning. You can arrive in the early morning (by 6:30am) and skip the brief overnight in Lima. In this case we will make arrangements to meet you at the Lima Airport in preparation for our group flight to PUNO in the early afternoon midmorning of February 10th. Secure your return flight on February 22nd in the late evening or the wee hours of the 23rd. The majority of flights returning to the USA depart Lima between 11:30pm-2:00am.
